Kvikk lunsj

I’m sure this has been said billions of times before, but Norway is beautiful. Well, I’ve only seen Oslo, but Oslo was beautiful. I’m also convinced I’m not the only one when I say that the women in Norway… well, yeah, the general trend may be obvious. Choosing where to move for my study just got slightly harder.

That’s all overshadowed, however, by the sheer fun I had. I spent a fair amount of time with my host Arne, one of the minds behind i use this. The rest of the week was spent with Audun, class photographer and far too kind. It should be known that he can’t pose too well, but it’s okay. Thanks for that, dudes. Some photos I shot are in this appropriately-titled photo set.

Some random remarks after this week: the DS Lite is an awesome little machine, black MacBooks have a truly sweet finish, the Nikon D70 is a great camera, the MacBook resists my most deviant actions in a Le Corbusier chaise longue ‘LC4′ and the newspapers are well-designed. Very much inspirational.

P.S. I failed to visit Opera and don’t even feel bad about it. Surely that means it was awesome enough?

  1. So, did you like our chocolate or what? (Kvikk Lunsj, that is)

  2. Oh no! Don’t tell me I missed out on something awesome!

I have to admit though that I just liked the term “kvikk lunsj” because, to Dutch people at least, it looks like an almost phonetic Scandinavian way of writing the English variant.
