I was a long-time reader of Matt’s site before I actually commented for the first time. I don’t exactly remember where it was (fanboys (if any), don’t search for it please—might be embarassing), but it’s a while ago already. I do remember that it didn’t get through at once. Matt’s Blacklist contained the word ‘zoo’, after he was spammed earlier with things like sex with animals and such. Thanks to my awesome domain name, I was blocked as well.

Now, spam is a problem. No denying it. But today was a black day in my blog history. I got approximately 225 attempts at Trackback spam, and there was no way of stopping it. The Spaminator caught it all, but it wasn’t a pretty sight in my Gmail (though it did get threaded up to 61 notifications). Also, the server slowed to a crawl when I tried to edit some stuff. Not Good I Says!

Now, to get back to the zoo stuff. I have a gut feeling Chris has blocked the word as well, cause when I tried to comment, it didn’t show up. I know it’s a bit rude to ask, but if every weblog I reply to would be so kind to remove ‘zoo’ and replace it with the more specific ‘zoophilia’, I would be very thankful. And for those that won’t do it, I’m about to buy some other domains for future use, so…

Anyway, here you have it sir: congratulations, to my favourite religious person.
